Maximize your driver's safety with LCD Fab's Liquid Containment Device
Without a doubt, as far as motorsports goes, karting has an excellent safety record and there are inventors out there constantly looking for ways of making it even safer. LCD Fab is one such company. They recognized that every once in a while a kart racer can find himself upside down. Of course quality helmets, driving suits, gloves and neck collars have done their part to minimize injuries but they can not prevent liquid fuel from getting on a driver if fuel leaks out of the vent of the fuel tank when it is upside down. Obviously this can be a fire hazard. LCD has invented a device that minimizes that risk; their liquid containment device.
The LCD Fab Liquid Containment Device
The liquid containment device is a ball check valve that inserts into the top of the engines fuel tank. When the tank is in it's normal upright position it allows fuel to be poured into the tank normally but it is also easily removed for refueling if the operator desires to do that.
The fuel tank cap screws on over the device and holds it in place. The device does not interfere in any way with the fuel tank cap vent.
In the event that the kart and fuel tank manage to get upside down the heavy steel ball drops down and positively shuts off the fuel from leaking out.
You can get the LCD Fab Liquid Contaiment Device to maximize your driver's safety for just $40 plus shipping.
